Do I need 1.4?  What's wrong with 1.3?
Absolutely nothing wrong with 1.3, and we do a range of 1.3 cables here, also with a 10 year warranty.
Our HDMI 1.4 cables will operate on all HDMI equipment on the market today, and the majority of users will notice very little difference between 1.3 and 1.4
The main reasons you would choose 1.4 over 1.3 would be as follows;
